We are growing and need Scripters to join our dynamic team. Scripters interface with Clients business & technical representatives and OpenLink Business Analysts to determine requirements, then produce and test high quality scripts that effectively meet the Client’s business and functional needs. The complexity of some scripts will require a high level of technical and functional understanding and proficiency.
Flexibility and regular travel around the Asian region are essential to this role. Applicants with the right to work in Singapore will be given priority.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- 1.5+ years of writing and testing scripts for Banking or Energy or Commodity business operations.
- The ability to understand business requirements and processes involved in creating a bespoke solution.
- A demonstrable track record of producing properly functioning Scripts to appropriate standards, on-time and on-budget.
- Knowledge of AVS scripting and Java technology an advantage, but training can be given.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Knowledge of programming in Java and/or a C-based Visual Scripting Language;
- Knowledge of Crystal Reports a plus;
- Experience with Windows Server and/or UNIX;
- Experience with relational databases, including MS SQL, Sybase & Oracle
- Knowledge of SQL
- Integrity and honestly an absolute requirement;
