Completing its front- to back-office transaction processing technology for the power markets, OpenLink's optional pMotion product for power scheduling provides the logistics coverage necessary for trading in today's North American physical markets. Unlike existing standalone scheduling systems, pMotion represents the industry's first truly integrated single database power scheduling product, designed and developed within Endur's proven, robust, straight-through-processing (STP), trading, risk management and operations environment.

This integrated product targets and eliminates logistic inefficiencies currently faced by many asset-based utilities, transmission providers, local distribution companies (LDCs), load-serving entities (LSEs), wholesalers, marketers and various financial institutions. Additionally, pMotion's robust reporting capability reduces the complexity of logistics reporting, such as that needed to comply with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Quarterly Report requirements.
